TO POESY, MY SPOUSE

I raise my quill to hail the muse
and beg for wings that glint with runes.
Walls bleed from pox; wind roars at panes
ice gnaws my bones; a pale wick gasps.
The yew desk groans; rays crown old stabs
as fauns chide gloom and puff on scrolls.
Verse pours rich oil; my dead lamp sighs
A kiss fires coal; oak scent burns mould.

TULIPS IN THE SKY

Grief racks pure love; I feel dark pangs
for my sweet prince who gilds the soil.
Pink buds drape skies with silk from God
and guide my soul to woods of grace.
A veiled choir prays; trees hush their tales
The rose lake chimes; I dance in light
A white shade calls; his gaze fires life
As red holes fade; my salve routs grey.

LADY OF THE HALLOWS

A noble horse parts the iron storm clouds
his snow wings nurse skies rent by tears
He bears a maid born in pure rays
A holy race bows to Luce their bride.
The regal steed lands; earth brims green hope
his gilt horn flares; sin roars and spits.
New glory robes hearts; they soar past woods
and drift in peace with Luce well blest.

A MERMAID'S GIFT

I stroll by shores in mists of morn
The harp lulls air; milk tides flare gilt.
A sea maid sighs; her fish tail glints
she signs my eyes; her jade ring heats
and wakes the tale of grace long slain.
O lady,” I weep, “cast a red lock
to melt dark arts and blast the crone!”
Words bathe my soul; her lips are mute
I seal your heart, so foil this doom!”

WALTZ OF HALOS

A swan ship glides and leads my soul
to the blest hill of Zela's white isle.
Her blue rose sings; it bears no spines
I hear fire speak her wish for man.
The glad sun bows as rays kiss earth
a dark snake bleeds; the pure lamb reigns.
I veil my face to greet love's gift
and waltz with light for iron is rust.

BIRTH OF THE HALLOWS

As jade spires glint in bows of lace
old Tain clips gilt from grey silk plaits.
He fans red wings; lakes brim with buds
dew sprays the rocks; a rare harp strums
roots bear high elves; palms hail their gifts.
Tain drapes his light to shield the realm
A surge of volts jerks earth from sleep
All gaze on skies that smile and flash.

THE HERALD'S VISION

The holy sage chants; fire robes a star
Zor strides in snow; his feet trail soot.
A maid bleeds light; ash mars her train
the witch king sneers as puce gas coils
and storms her mind to aid his plot.
The high slave fades in halls of grace
Zor's pure mask rips; iron stabs a lord.
That fell scene dies; bones thud on tiles
for man's blest gift is blitzed by grief.
