WHEN MAGIC DESCENDS (PART 1)

In trance I hail a son of light
Woe stings my lord; the fire deer quake.
Vile, grey men seize his box long prized
to drift in time and rouse The Beast.
Zel gilds iron horns with ten sky jewels
a red beam scalds fair tribes of grace
runes blaze on hearts bound fast in coves
A wolf pack snarls; it rends the saint.

ELDERS OF THE LIGHT

A ruby lord bows; his gilt cross whirs
to guide his realm that dwells in skies.
Mares part grey cloud; spires drift on wings
Man hails deep trance as domes kiss earth
and tribes of power choose hearts for light.
The holy sage carves a globe from pines
it pours rare salt by work of nymphs
who cure old pangs with dark, sweet grains.
A dog rose bleeds; thorns fall on palms
to aid the meek who face red storms.

THE TREE WITCH

A tree witch stalks; her eyes fire worms
her green robe whips the moon and stars.
Pale sacs bear eggs that bind to flesh
Fauns raise pink orbs; a dead prince wakes.
Mauve oil rots fiends; numb slaves breathe light
wargs howl and pounce; a blood king twists
pure souls of God who scorned his guile.
Fumes choke the sage; he falls to crones
Dark songs rend grace; and holy power drains.
