A GHOUL'S CURSE

The ghoul king mounts his throne of asps
And booms a curse to rend poor doves.
His troops pound steeds; their lava eyes flare
nine red manes haul wan hearts from bliss
iron binds gored bones to fangs and spikes.
As chains whip fire light weeps steel grey
a pious word soars; the wraith skulls jeer
their nails belch fumes; God's work is dross.

GARDEN OF MAGIC

A holy dart sears the nymph queen's brow
Trance wings its kiss; light gilds her womb
to bear Christ's root of grace for souls.
An angel babe soars; crowns drift in air
and seal His reign that mystic birds crave.
As magic woods twirl a cherub host plays
Three old priests bless their Lord with chants
Glass fonts brim scent; buds form high robes.

SACRED FLAME

As devils howl spells blades gore the moon
Claws seize her gems of opal and pearl.
A white tower quakes; its gold domes smash
the grand sage rots in acid blood seas.
His noble brow streams rose light and oil
horns blare on peaks where fire birds nest.
That prince of flames smites earth with love
an ochre pit roars; beasts plunge to doom.
Blue eagles fan mist on the lord's bones
A pure heart soars; grace bids death flee.
