THE MYSTIC TREES

A gold bat glides to realms of sylphs
He veils dark arts in gems and bliss.
The fairy maids bow; they chant his spells
fire rends God's wood; bones choke fair gifts.
A putrid haze coils; fiends jeer at pangs
as mystic trees writhe their veins gush sap.
It bathes rock fields so poppies may bloom
rose light beams hope for souls once cursed
and magic shrubs waltz to songs of love.

A DIVINE GUEST SMILES

The star maid glides to earth's high thrones
and seeks a lord when halos kiss hearts.
Her smile parts clouds as visions beam grace
the worthy king flees for mystic love calls
and bids him yield his realm of power.
That prized lamp wails; blood dyes her rays
Sun weaves gold lint to heal God's gift
A black fog shrouds the land of shame.

A HUMMINGBIRD WEDDING

As julias gild woods; pink roses strew gowns
the spiders drape paths with silver and lace.
Wings twang moist air; a magic song thrums
two svelte beaks seal their pledge of love.
God's birth star whirls; it wreathes the blest
a friar saint kneels; his cross brims gifts.
Those lofty birds hush; the holy queen chants
a dozing sun beams her rubies and jade
that grey silk groom dons robes of lords.

TO THE GLORY OF MYSTERY

God fires His thorns; an angel palm bleeds
and rains gold oil on earth's grey shores.
The pure hosts drift in robes of flesh
to rest with man when doubt chars grace.
Their mystic words kiss hearts signed by truth
the mortal mask peels as mauve gauze parts.
Love beams its gaze; a hush drapes skies
Wings hone new gems from lakes of tears.
