A gold bat glides to realms of sylphs
He veils dark arts in gems and bliss.
The fairy maids bow; they chant his spells
fire rends God's wood; bones choke fair gifts.
A putrid haze coils; fiends jeer at pangs
as mystic trees writhe their veins gush sap.
It bathes rock fields so poppies may bloom
rose light beams hope for souls once cursed
and magic shrubs waltz to songs of love.
